Friends of the Manx Language

Caarjyn ny Gaelgey (Friends of the Manx Language) was established in 1991. The aim of the organisation is to provide opportunities for people to use and learn the language.

Language classes are kept small and informal and each person can learn at his/her own pace in a friendly atmosphere.

All language classes take place in St John’s House, the organisations headquarters in St John’s from 7.30 pm to 9.30pm.

Caarjyn ny Gaelgey also hold a number of other events aimed at improving spoken Man.
