Traditional Manx Gaelic song workshop - 13th January 2024

On the afternoon of Saturday 13th January 2024 there will be a traditional Manx Gaelic song workshop, organised by Culture Vannin and kindly hosted by Thie dy Vea Retreat House in Peel.

Ruth Keggin Gell will lead the workshop, guiding participants through a range of traditional Manx Gaelic songs over the course of three hours. As well as holding the position of Yn Greinneyder (Culture Vannin's Manx Language Development Officer), Ruth is a critically-acclaimed Manx Gaelic singer, and a qualified and experienced teacher.

Thie dy Vea retreat house, Tynwald Road, Peel
Date: Saturday 13th January, 2024
Time: 2pm - 5pm, with breaks 
Cost: Free to attend, but advance registration is essential. Refreshments will be available for a small donation to Thie dy Vea.
Intended audience: adults (16+), though 13-16 year olds are welcome when accompanied by a responsible adult. All are welcome, regardless of level of Manx or singing experience!
