Conference programme: Language and Society in the Isle of Man

Between Thursday 11 - Saturday 13 May 2023, there will be a conference entitled 'Language and Society in the Isle of Man', which will take place at the iMuseum in Douglas, with an online option for those who are unable to attend in person. 

Hosted by the University of Galway and Manx National Heritage, the conference will have a particular focus on all aspects of Manx Gaelic language and literature, as well as Manx English and other aspects of the Island's linguistic past and present.

Attendance and participation at the conference will be free of charge, but there will be a fee charged for those who wish to attend the conference dinner.
